Managing Anxiety in Isolation Period

Hello guys, it‘s been 03 weeks we have been on quarantine in UK, I understand this is a period of stress and uncertainty, so it is essential that you be more cautious to your habits in order to manage anxiety and keep the positivity.

Below I bring a few tips for you, so you can keep your emotions balanced

- Do not spend too much time watching news and focusing in negative content, people and groups

- Accept and welcome your emotions and focus on what you can control

- Focus on present

- There are things we cannot control, so do not be so hard on yourself

- Try to keep a routine and make time for leisure, rest and activities you feel joy

- Cultivate self-compassion (you are doing the best you can)

- Meditate, pray and contemplate nature

- Do breathing exercises 

- Drink a lot of water 

- Exercise, do stretches and yoga (you can find free videos on youtube do it from home)

- Prioritize a good sleep (switch off your mobile during this time)

If you cultivate these attitudes it will be easier to keep calm and spend this time in a lighter and productive way. This will pass and we‘ll be stronger and positively changed.
